Joong Gun
Joong Gun is named after the patriot Ahn Joong-Gun who assassinated Hiro-Bumi Ito, the first Japanese governor-general of Korea, known as the man who played the leading part in the Korea-Japan merger. There are 32 movements in this pattern to represent Mr. Ahn's age when he was executed at Lui-Shung prision (1910).
1. Turn counter-clockwise moving the left foot forming a right L-stance toward B while executing a middle side block with the left reverse knife-hand.
2. Execute a low side front snap kick to B with the left foot, keeping the position of the hands as they were in move 1.
3. Lower the left foot into a right L-stance toward B and then step forward with the right foot forming a left rear foot stance toward B while executing an upward block with a right palm.
4. Turn clockwise moving the right foot forming a left L-stance toward A, while executing a middle side block with a right reverse knife-hand.
5. Execute a low side front snap kick to A with the right foot, keeping the position of the hands as they were in move 4.
6. Lower the right foot into a left L-stance toward B and then step forward with the left foot forming a right rear foot stance toward A while executing an upward block with a left palm.
7. Turn counter clockwise moving the left foot forming a right L-stance toward D while executing a middle guarding block with a knife-hand.
8. Slip the left foot into a left walking stance toward D, execute an upward strike with the right elbow.
9. Step forward with the right foot forming a left L-stance toward D while executing a middle guarding block with a knife-hand.
10. Slip the right foot forming a right walking stance toward D, execute an upward strike with the left elbow.
11. Step forward with the left foot forming a left walking stance toward D while executing a high vertical punch with a twin fist.
12. Step forward with the right foot forming a right walking stance toward D while executing an upset punch with a twin fist.
13. Step with the right foot on line CD and then turn counter clockwise moving the left foot forming a left walking stance toward C while executing a rising block with an X-fist.
14. Turn counter clockwise moving the left foot forming a right L-stance toward E while executing a high side strike with the left backfist.
15. Slip the left foot forming a left walking stance toward E, turning the left fist counter clockwise bringing the fist downward.

16. Maintain a left walking stance toward E execute a high front punch with the right forefist.

17. Bring the left foot to the right foot and then turn clockwise moving the right foot forming a left L-stance toward F while executing a high side strike with a right backfist.
18. Slip the right foot forming a right walking stance toward F, twist the right fist clockwise until the backfist faces downward.

19. Maintain a right walking stance toward F execute a high front punch with the left fore fist.

20. Bring the right foot to the left foot and then turn counter clockwise moving the left foot forming a left walking stance toward C while executing a high side block with a left double forearm.
21. Pull the left foot forming a right L-stance toward C, execute a middle front punch with the left forefist.
22. Execute a middle side piercing kick to C with the right foot while executing a high front punch with the right forefist.
23. Lower the right foot forming a right walking stance toward C while executing a high side block with the right double forearm.
24. Pull the right foot forming a left L-stance toward C, execute a middle front punch with the right forefist.
25. Execute a middle side piercing kick to C with the left foot while executing a high front punch with the left forefist.
26. Lower the left foot forming a right L-stance toward C while executing a middle guarding block with the outer forearm.
27. Slip the left foot forming a left low stance toward C, execute a pressing block with the right palm.
