Yul Guk

Yul Guk is the pseudonym of a great philosopher and scholar Yil (1536-1584) nicknamed the "Confucious of Korea". The 38 movements of this pattern refer to his birthplace on the 38° latitude and the diagram represents "scholar".

1. Step with the left foot forming a sitting stance toward D while extending the left forefist horizontally.
